Sr. Firmware Engineer

Location: Thingularity Office, Bangalore, India + WFH From Bangalore Options

  • Experience Level: 3-8 Years in relevant field 
  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelors / Masters in Electronics/ Computer Science/ MCA

Skillsets:

  1. Proven working experience in software engineering with solid programming experience in C and C++
  2. Expertise in firmware development for Ethernet and wireless communication technologies like Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE mesh) / (BLE + ZigBee Mesh), Wi-Fi, ZigBee etc.
  3. Must have worked on 16, 32 bit and ARM core microcontrollers,Expertise in “bare metal” embedded systems firmware design and coding, experience on Linux and/or any RTOS, like FreeRTOS or similar ones is desirable.
  4. Hands-on development and troubleshooting experience on embedded targets using various tools and lab instruments
  5. Experience in object-oriented software design and development is good to have
  6. Good knowledge of software development processes and coding standards for the project implementation
  7. Proficient in source code control tools, software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review
  8. Expert at GIT SCC.
  9. Ability to read schematics and data sheets for hardware components
  10. Strong communication, documentation and writing skills

Job Description:

  1. Design and develop embedded software/firmware for 16, 32 bit and ARM microcontrollers using Embedded C language for bare metal devices.
  2. Design and implement SW architecture for bare metal and/ RTOS based embedded development, Bug Fixing, Verification Testing, Reliability testing and SW release.
  3. Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources
  4. Support software QA and optimize I/O performance and Provide post production support
  5. Interface with hardware design and development team and interact with global customers’ technology teams.
Hardware Design Engineer

Location: Thingularity Office, Bangalore, India + WFH From Bangalore Options

  • Experience Level: 3-8 Years in relevant field
  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelors/ Masters in Engineering/ MCA in Electronics/ Computer Science

Skillsets:

  1. Experienced in Embedded HW design and development for Digital and Analog mixed system design.
  2. Worked on extreme low power wireless communication devices for wireless lighting control systems like ZigBee, BLE, Wi-Fi and Sub-GHz
  3. Experienced in design validation and testing of systems and deliver robust solutions
  4. Experience in pre-compliance and regulatory testing like UL/ ETL , CE and EMI /EMC testing
  5. Experience in design Reliability (DFMEA, WCA, MTBF) and related process/tools
  6. Experience in product sustenance activities, VAVE is preferable
  7. Basic understanding of Information Security Management system
  8. Good Interpersonal Skills and Team Player
